Bach Flower RemediesDr Edward Bach (1886 - 1936) (pronounced Batch) was a very accomplished physician at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital as a pathologist and bacteriologist and later a consultant physician in Harley Street.
Flower remedies became his life work after discovering how plants and tree's affected his own thoughts and feelings and through his research he identified 38 different flower remedies which he could catergorise into 7 emotional groupings, which can be used in blends to help with an individuals emotional well-being. |
How do they work? |
The essence from these 38 varieties of plants and trees are individually collected and preserved. The essence can then be blended to each individual needs (max 7 at any time). where they then place drops of this on their tongue 3 times a day for a period of time to help with their emotional well-being. These blends can then be tailored and changed to meet ongoing needs.
for example; if you were suffering from Anxiety, tension and an inability to relax a blend such as Aspen, Impatiens and olive may help towards this. They work as a preventative measure as well as a helping hand in the moment (you may have already heard of the rescue remedy), as emotional states can contribute to many health problems, such as; stomach ulcers. migraines etc. |
